Registration

Register for the allocation

A few minutes, no payment, and it commits you to nothing. It is the only way onto the list, and the list closes at the end of September 2026.

Registration closes in

Registration closes in 18 days.

Sunday 27 September 2026

  1. 27 SEPRegistrationNow
  2. 28 SEPAllocationAhead
  3. 05 OCTPaymentAhead

01

Nothing is taken now

No payment is taken at this stage and no place is held. You are telling us you want to be considered, and we are telling you on 28 September whether you are in.

02

First come, first served

The allocation is limited and it is filled in the order people registered. The time you register is the only thing that affects your position. Choosing a larger package, paying early or paying in full does not improve it and never will.

03

You do not have to buy anything

You can register for a festival ticket alone, with no package. That option is on the form and it is a real one: the ticket has never been tied to a sale, and the two questions are asked separately for exactly that reason.

What happens next

The dates, and then it is done

  1. Sunday 27 September 2026

    Registration closes

23:59. It takes a few minutes and no payment is taken. Places in the allocation are ordered by the time you registered, so the only thing that matters is registering before this.

  2. Monday 28 September 2026

    The allocation is announced

Everyone who registered hears from us, allocated or not. The allocation is limited and it is filled in order of registration. If you are not in it we tell you how to buy a ticket directly, and you can still travel with us on a package that does not include one.

  3. 28 September – 5 October 2026

    Allocated travellers pay

In full, by bank transfer — or with a Rogers Capital loan, which pays us in full on your behalf. There is no deposit stage and no payment plan.

  4. Friday 2 October 2026

Unpaid places go to the waiting list

A place nobody has paid for, or applied to finance, is released to the next person in registration order. This is not a threat, it is arithmetic: the tickets are bought four days later and they are bought for the people who have paid.

  5. Monday 5 October 2026

    Payment deadline

For The Full Passage, and no exceptions. Both price reductions close here, and both are decided by the order payments arrive — not by when you registered, which is a separate queue and decides something else. The Open Passage and The Lisbon Passage have no deadline on this calendar: they open after the festival's general sale on 13 October and run on a rolling basis.

  6. Tuesday 6 October 2026

    The tickets are bought

This is the day the festival's own ambassador sale opens, which is why it is this date and not one we chose. Festival tickets are bought in your name and the airline is paid. From this day the money is spent, it is not ours to give back, and the place cannot be passed to anybody else.

Before you register

What you would be agreeing to

Not by registering — registering commits you to nothing. These are the conditions that apply from the moment you pay, and one of them is unusual enough that it belongs on this page rather than behind a link.

No payment at registration

Nothing is taken when you register and no place is held. You can register, be allocated a ticket, and decide not to take it.

From the moment you pay, it is non-refundable

On 6 October 2026 the money is spent on a festival ticket in your name and on the airline. It stops being ours to return on that day, which is why we say so before you pay rather than after.

Your place cannot be passed to anyone else

The festival ticket is issued to a named person, and the festival states that tickets on the price band which applies to Mauritius are non-transferable. The flight carries a name as well. So there is no substitution, no name change and no resale — not at a fee, and not at any point.

A Rogers loan is between you and Rogers

If you finance your place, Rogers pay us in full and your repayments run to Rogers on their terms. Nothing that happens to your journey changes the loan: it stays yours until Rogers say otherwise.

If we cancel, you are refunded in full

The same applies if you pay and are not allocated a festival ticket: everything you paid comes back, in full.

Insurance is what covers the rest

Travel insurance is compulsory on this journey and is included in every package. It is what answers illness, injury and a family emergency once the money has been spent.

How you pay

Bank transfer, in full, by 5 October 2026 — or a Rogers Capital loan, which settles the full amount with us and leaves you repaying Rogers. Those are the two routes and there is no third. If you need to pay by card there is an additional fee, quoted to you before you pay anything. **That 5 October date is The Full Passage only.** It carries a festival ticket from our allocation and that ticket is bought the next morning, so the money has to be with us before it. The Open Passage and The Lisbon Passage work the other way round: you bring your own festival ticket, and the festival's own general sale does not open until 13 October 2026. Those two therefore open to you once you hold a ticket, run on a rolling basis after that, and carry no fixed payment deadline. We close them by announcement, when the group is full or when the arrangements no longer allow another traveller.

Two minutes

The form

Six questions. None of them is about a document, and none of them is a commitment.

01

Who you are

Tickets are issued in this name. We are not asking for your passport number or a copy of it, and we will not until a place has been allocated to you.

We use it once, on 28 September, if email fails.

02

What you are asking for

The first question decides whether you go into the allocation. The other two are planning, and they change nothing.

Do you want a festival ticket from our allocation?

Answering yes puts you in the allocation, in registration order. It commits you to nothing.

Which package interests you?

Asked separately from the ticket, and on purpose. Your answer here has no effect on the allocation.

If you are allocated a ticket, how would you expect to pay?

A planning question, not a commitment, and it has no effect on the allocation. There are two routes: in full by bank transfer, or a Rogers Capital loan.

03

Before you send

Optional, and it has no effect on your registration or on the allocation.

What you are telling us

The group leaves from Mauritius on one booking, and the allocation exists because the festival lists The Portal by Selectro as its Ambassador for Mauritius. If you live elsewhere, write to us instead — it is not a no, it is a different conversation.

What you are agreeing to

Optional, and separate on purpose. Say no and your registration is treated exactly the same.

No payment is taken now. You will hear from us on 28 September 2026 whether or not you are allocated a ticket.

This form reaches the two people running the journey, and one of them answers it. No payment is taken and no card details are ever asked for here. Do not send a passport number, a scan of any document, or a date of birth — we do not collect them at this stage and we cannot accept them.
